Who the heck is Ben Smithee?

I was adopted at the age of 4 months old from Korea and grew up in Arlington Texas, which is between Dallas and Ft. Worth.  I have been blessed with a diverse background of experience, and am always open for exploring new things.  Starting college as a Biology major, and eventually following my larger passion for business and marketing, I worked my way through college as a professional jazz saxophonist, which taught me the core elements of being an entrepreneur and running a business.

After graduating from the University of Texas as Arlington in 2007, I loaded the U-HAUL and made the move to PA to join DGA, a full-service qualitative market research firm that specializes in the pharmaceutical industry. After my first year with DGA I was fortunate enough to create and develop Spych Market Analytics, which provides innovative solutions for companies who market or wish to market to the Gen Y and Millennial market segments.

I will always have a strong passion for music and my ipod has the most eclectic mix you have ever seen!  I love hanging out with friends and meeting new people!  I live out of a suitcase the majority of the time, and I enjoy travel, new cuisine and playing sports.
